Esquires Coffee Chesham Opening
We’re pleased to announce that Esquires Coffee has officially opened its first store in Chesham, following the transformation of the former Lloyd’s Bank building at 79 High Street.
The opening marks a significant investment in Chesham’s town centre, bringing an Esquires café into one of the High Street’s most prominent and historic locations. The space has been thoughtfully designed to combine contemporary café living with a strong connection to the character and heritage of the surrounding conservation area.
As part of the refurbishment, the building’s frontage was carefully updated to restore a more open and transparent shopfront, consistent with traditional historic retail architecture. This approach has helped re‑establish the building as an inviting, active presence on the High Street, while respecting its architectural setting.
Inside, the café has been created with a clear focus on quality, comfort and community spirit. Designed to encourage conversation, learning and connection, the space provides a welcoming environment for everything from early‑morning coffee catch‑ups and informal meetings to family visits and relaxed afternoons.
Esquires Coffee Chesham serves our 100% organic, Fairtrade‑certified coffee, alongside freshly prepared breakfast and brunch options, cakes, milkshakes and deli selections. Sustainability and ethical sourcing remain central to the Esquires brand, ensuring every cup reflects our commitment to responsible practices and great quality.
This new opening further strengthens Esquires Coffee’s presence across Buckinghamshire, joining existing locations in Aylesbury, Gerrards Cross and Buckingham. We’re delighted to see Esquires Coffee become part of daily life in Chesham and look forward to welcoming the community into its new home on the High Street.
