Our Initiatives
Cooks Coffee is building an ethical café group with great cafes owned and run by local people. Our Esquires Coffee brand is following this principle and acts as a responsible member of the communities we serve.
All Esquires coffee is grown using century-old traditional farming methods. This means no chemicals are used; in fact, much of our coffee is cleverly grown as part of the existing ecosystem, so no land is damaged.
Organic
Esquires Coffee only uses Fairtrade coffee, which puts people, not products, at the forefront. The Fairtrade certification means that farmers retain control and a guaranteed minimum price for their products.
